2026 University of Maryland Fully Funded Master’s Scholarship – Apply Now
The University of Maryland is inviting applications for a fully funded Graduate Teaching Assistantship at the MSc level, open to both domestic and international students. Research Focus Areas
The selected MSc student will take full ownership of their research, which will involve:

- Analyzing collected survey data

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following academic and professional requirements:
Academic Requirements:
- Minimum undergraduate GPA: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a closely related discipline
- Strong academic track record
Language Requirements for International Applicants (Teaching Role):
- IELTS: Overall band score of 7.0 (Listening 7, Reading 7, Writing 7, Speaking 7.5)
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum total score of 95 (Listening 24, Reading 26, Writing 24, Speaking 24)
Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred):
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in data organization and project management
- Ability to critically analyze and synthesize scientific literature
- Hands-on experience with livestock, especially broiler chickens
- Knowledge of IT tools or Python programming
- Previous publications or conference presentations
