Scholarship Benefits

€934 for Master’s students

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the DAAD EPOS scholarship, applicants must:

Be employed by a public authority or private company in a developing country and actively involved in development-related planning and implementation.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree (typically four years) in a relevant field.
Have completed their degree with above-average academic performance (upper third).
Possess at least two years of relevant professional experience after obtaining their Bachelor’s degree.
Have completed their last academic degree no more than six years before applying.
Not have resided in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of application.

Completed DAAD application form
Signed checklist
Detailed curriculum vitae (use Europass format)
Motivational letter outlining academic, professional, and personal goals
Certificates of employment demonstrating at least two years of relevant experience

Proof of language proficiency:
English: IELTS or TOEFL (institutional TOEFL not accepted)
German: Required for programs taught in German
Certified copies of university degrees and transcripts
APS Certificate (for applicants from China)
