Scholarship Details
The Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship (European Master for Industry in Microwave Electronics and Photonics) is a newly funded project by the European Union, running from September 1, 2023, to October 31, 2029.
This program builds on the previous EMIMEO initiative, aiming to enhance teaching quality and strengthen industry and research partnerships.
The program is offered by a consortium of universities:
University of Limoges (France)
University of Brescia (Italy)
University of the Basque Country (Spain)
Abbe School of Photonics, Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (Germany)
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the EMINEP Scholarship, applicants must:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Photonics, or Applied Physics.
Have a strong foundation in signal processing, electromagnetism, telecommunications, embedded systems, analog/digital electronics, electromagnetic wave propagation, and photonics.
Provide their bachelor’s final grade, which can be converted using the ENIC-NARIC recognition system.
Demonstrate professional or research experience, such as internships, academic projects, or summer jobs.

Motivation letter (in English) outlining their interest and qualifications
Certified copies of academic certificates (high school and bachelor’s degree)

English language proficiency test/certificate
Three reference letters, including one from a non-academic source
Proof of employment or internship experience from the last five years
Reference verification, such as LinkedIn or Google Scholar ID
