At Brunel University London, we recognize the importance of diversity in our student body, including the representation of mature students. To support this commitment, we are pleased to introduce the Life Long Learning Bursary aimed at encouraging mature individuals to pursue undergraduate studies, who might otherwise face obstacles in accessing higher education.

The Life Long Learning Bursary is designed to assist mature students aged 25 and over, who are starting undergraduate courses at Brunel University London or the Brunel Pathway College in September 2024. This bursary, available to Home fee-paying applicants, provides a full fee waiver for each level of study.

Priority in awarding the bursary will be given to applicants who meet certain criteria, including residency in the London Borough of Hillingdon, being Care Leavers, or residing in areas of deprivation according to the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) 2019 Quintiles 1 and 2.

To qualify for the Life Long Learning Bursary, applicants must fulfill specific requirements, including holding an offer of a place on a Full-Time Undergraduate course, commencing the course in the upcoming academic year, and submitting a completed scholarship application by the deadline of July 31, 2024.

Applicants will be assessed based on their eligibility and priority criteria, and awards will be allocated accordingly. Bursary recipients may be invited to participate in promotional activities and surveys to evaluate the University's financial support package. Participation is voluntary, and opting out will not affect the bursary award.
