"It's a dream come true," the 18-year-old Manchester United midfielder shared with TNT Sports after his game-winning strike in a Premier League thriller against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. "I still can't believe it. It feels like I'm still dreaming, to be honest."

"Playing in the Premier League for my boyhood club has been incredible. Now, it's about striving for more victories."

Mainoo's heroics marked his 11th senior appearance for United. While previously quietly impressive in central midfield, this moment was sheer brilliance. It showcased a young talent lifting his team from despair with a touch of individual genius to secure victory in a match United seemed destined to lose.

In the aftermath of Pedro Neto's equalizer for the hosts, Mainoo seized the opportunity. Picking up the ball 35 yards from goal, he outwitted one defender, nutmegged Wolves captain Max Kilman, shifted onto his right foot, and expertly curled a low finish past Jose Sa.

Mainoo now joins the illustrious ranks of teenage sensations emerging from United's academy and making an immediate impact in the Premier League.
