Previous President, John Dramani Mahama has denied charges that he gathered GH¢ 14 million as ex-gratia installment in 2013.
Mr. Mahama said such manufactures are proliferated to scratch his believability.
An assertion endorsed by the Special Aide to the previous President, Joyce Bawah Mogtari on Monday, September 5, said he has never gathered such a sum as ex-gratia in his political life.
Public statement
JOHN MAHAMA DENIES GH¢14M EX-GRATIA CLAIMS
The Office of HE John Dramani Mahama has become mindful of another bogus and
foul case by an individual from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, that
previous President Mahama "... brought back home the fattest ex-gratia of GH¢14 million in
2013..."
We ask people in general to overlook the unintelligent tirades of the said Kwame Baffoe who has
acquired reputation for manufacturing and spreading lie for the benefit of Nana Akufo-
Addo against John Mahama. His cases are bogus.
President Mahama never took any such ex-gratia installment of GH¢14 million out of 2013 or
at some other time during his 25 years of recognized public help. Luckily, ex-
gratia installments involve freely available report and are accessible in the workplace of the Chief
of Staff or the Controller and Accountant General's Department.
We challenge the workplace of the Chief of Staff and the Presidency to give evidence of the
installment of any such sum and quit utilizing inactive lowlifes among its positions to spread
lie.
It will be astounding assuming any such installment had been made to the previous President and has
not been reflected in any of the various Auditor General's reports introduced to
Parliament starting around 2013.
We realize that it is a stock in exchange of President Akufo-Addo and his buddies to send off a
mission of defamation and bogus claims against the character of President Mahama
whenever they have their options somewhat limited.
To no one's surprise, this most recent misrepresentation is a bombed imitation to stifle the public conversations
about the difficulty Ghanaians are going through a result of the confused, clumsy,
miserable ineptitude and unfortunate administration of the Akufo-Addo and Bawumia
organization.
It is a permeable reaction to John Mahama's guarantee to critically re-look and survey issues
connected with the remittances of Article 71 office holders including ex-gratia installments.
We need to emphasize the focuses made by President Mahama as of late that a next NDC
Government will run an organization with a more streamlined government and undeniably less pastors
than Ghana has at any point seen and guarantee a cut in waste and exercise of thriftiness in
all that Government does.
"Luckily, ex-gratia installments involve freely available report and are accessible in the workplace of the Chief of Staff or the Controller and Accountant General's Department," bits of the delivery expressed.
